PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR

Some drivers are lucky enough to never worry about dent repair—others—not so much.

Paintless dent repair comes in handy when your vehicle gets dented. It might not even be because of a minor automotive collision. Debris, small stones, falling ice, or hail could dent your vehicle.

It used to be difficult to remove the dents on a vehicle. These days though, you can have your dent removed in no time at all. Certified National Hail Team LLC always promises fast turnarounds on dent repair. We stand by paintless dent repair and believe it is the best dent removal service on the market.

WHAT IS PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR?

We use paintless dent repair (PDR), which is a specialized process that utilizes tools designed to gain access behind the panel. Pressure is applied to the dented areas while massaging and reforming the metal back to its original condition.

Traditional auto body shops will overcharge you for sanding, body filling and unnecessary paint jobs. Let us get your car back on the road looking smooth and dent free.

HOW DOES PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR WORK?

Believe it or not, paintless dent repair is not that complicated. However, it does require a delicate hand and lots of expertise. There is a simple two-step process for repairing every dent:

  • Accessing the Dent: Most of the time, the team at Certified National Hail Team LLC will need to access the dent from the backside. This requires carefully accessing key openings in auto body panels depending on where the dent is located.
  • Repairing the Dent: There are several different approaches to paintless dent repair. Using a variety of tools, the dent is “massaged” out of the panel. This process requires many years of training combined with performing the work in real world setting. It takes using a verity of tools, techniques, knowledge of metal and years of experience to remove hail damage from a vehicle. The average of our technicians is 15 years of working experience performing paintless dent repair!

PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR VS. TRADITIONAL DENT REPAIR

Some people remove their dents with more traditional dent repair techniques. Some collision and repair shops in Arlington don’t even offer paintless dent repair to begin with!

With the traditional approach, the dent is filled with bondo, paint is applied to the body’s surface, then smoothed out by a sander for even results.

However appealing this may be, this approach does not do anything to remove the vehicle’s dents. The dent is still under the surface of the paint. It is also time-consuming and can be quite expensive. Not to mention, insurance companies do NOT consider this antiquated way as a proper repair in most case for hail. You also lose the original fit and finish from the factory. While you lose your paint warranty from the manufacturer that is, in most cases, 10 years and unlimited mile warranty!

HAIL DAMAGE REPAIR

Certified National Hail Team LLC approaches every dent differently because not every dent is the same. Some small collisions may produce multiple dents with irregular surfaces, which will take more time and consideration. And not every piece of hail has a smooth, circular shape. This means the dents they produce will all be unique.

Manipulating the metal of your vehicle probably sounds a little risky, doesn’t it? Well, just remember that dents want to be removed. That is why the experience of the tech performing PDR is important to restoring the vehicle to pre storm condition. Just remember: paintless dent repair is being performed from behind the dent, not the exterior service. This means we will not scratch, there will be no need for body filler or paint to restore your vehicle’s surface.
